穀雨（Grain Rain），是中國傳統二十四節氣中的第六個節氣，也是春季的最後一個節氣。穀雨有“雨生百穀”之意，在這個時節降雨量明顯增加，正好滿足了穀物類農作物生長的需要。柳絮飛落，牡丹吐蕊，再過不久，初夏就要來了。
Grain Rain originates from the old saying “Rain brings up the growth of hundreds of grains”， which shows that this period of rainfall is extremely important for the growth of crops。 The Grain Rain signals the end of cold weather and a rapid rise in temperature。
穀雨來源於俗語“雨生百穀”，可以看出這段時期的降雨對於農作物生長是何等重要。穀雨的到來代表著寒冷天氣的終結和溫度的攀升。
“雨頻霜斷氣清和，柳綠茶香燕弄梭。”穀雨節氣和茶息息相關。穀雨茶也叫雨前茶，是穀雨時節採製的春茶。春季溫度適中，雨量充沛，經過一整個冬季休養生息的茶樹芽葉肥碩，色澤翠綠，富含多種維生素和氨基酸，使得春茶滋味鮮活，香氣怡人。
There is an old custom in southern China that people drink tea on the day of Grain Rain。 Spring tea during Grain Rain is rich in vitamins and amino acids， which can help to remove heat from the body and is good for the eyes。 It is also said that drinking tea on this day would prevent bad luck。
中國南方有個古老的習俗，人們要在穀雨當天飲茶。穀雨期間的春茶富含維生素和氨基酸，對於身體散熱和明目都有幫助。還有一種說法是穀雨喝茶可以抵擋厄運。
除了採茶喝茶，我國北方還有穀雨吃香椿（toona sinensis）的傳統。俗話說“雨前椿芽嫩如絲”，穀雨前後正是香椿樹萌發嫩芽的時節，香椿營養豐富，不僅有助於增強免疫力，還有健胃、理氣、止瀉、潤膚、殺蟲等功效。此外，部分沿海地區的漁民還會在穀雨舉辦祭海（worship the sea）活動，向海神獻上祭品，以求出海平安和收穫滿滿。
