一、控制元件安裝
注意：在日常操作之前，電池必須充滿電！如果未充電的話，剛會引起EPX10000發生故障。若顯示異樣，這可能是首次提示電池電壓太低，必須充電。若電池充一整晚上電以後，電池仍無電量，則需要更換電池或者充電器，或者交流電源輸出口無電。若電池充進了部分電，可能需要更換內建電池。一塊新的充滿電的電池能供EPX10000工作約8小時。
開啟掃描器之前，把發射器放在地面上，把感測器天線連線到發射器的對應的插孔內。在發射器開啟的時候。絕對不要插拔感測器，如果那樣做的話，將會對機器造成損壞。使用EPX10000掃描以前，首先做好儀器的所有必要連線。

1、將感測器連線到掃描器的testing（+）testing（-）插孔上，並將感測器的探頭插入泥土
2、將訊號發射的發射天線裝置在對應的介面上。
3、用電源鑰匙旋轉“On/Off旋鈕，開啟電源。此時，在液晶顯示區域、電源指示燈、橫向微調、縱向微調指示燈點亮。
4、此時，EPX10000正在掃描所選的任何元素。在開始探測程式之前，請先執行3-5分鐘，這將在後面進行簡單解釋。
5、操作結束後，記住關閉EPX10000的電源。為了方便使用，該儀器的電池需要使用連線在儀器電源線上的小充電器充電。

四、配件介紹：
接收天線棒——天線棒旨在向操作人員指出他/她已經步入功率感測器和目標之間的傳輸線。正常情況下，手持天線棒要穩定和平衡，齊腰高度，以及稍微位於操作人員前方。手持天線棒時，天線棒應指向前方，相互平行，且相隔8-18英寸距離。每一個人需要找到適合自己的最佳距離。這需要試驗和出錯才能找到。請記住，在操作該裝置方面，沉著放鬆的人會比緊張僵硬的人做得好！當你進入射頻能量線，測到東西的時候。天線棒將自然交叉。
